Terms of Service

When you work with Culinary House, we treat your renovation budget like it’s our own hard-earned cash, so we’ve built our policies around realistic expectations. To keep our renovation estimates accurate and actionable, you must provide us with accurate information regarding the condition of your current cabinets, appliances, and flooring. If you conceal structural damage or known water issues, the final quote you receive may differ significantly from what you see on our platform, and we won’t be able to honor a price based on incomplete data.

While we pride ourselves on giving you the tools to plan a budget-friendly kitchen, you are responsible for making sure you have the necessary permissions before we even begin the design process. It is your duty to verify that your property is zoned for commercial-style renovations and to obtain any required permits from your local municipality. We can help you identify the steps you need to take, but the legal obligation to comply with your city’s building codes and inspection requirements falls entirely on you.

We also strictly prohibit certain activities to ensure the safety of your project and the integrity of our data. You are not allowed to use our renovation ideas to solicit unauthorized labor or to hire contractors who are not vetted through our platform. Furthermore, please do not attempt to modify any of our proprietary pricing algorithms or quote comparison tools. Our goal is to help you find honest work, so any attempts to bypass our vetting process or generate fake quotes will result in the immediate termination of your account.
